Job Description

As a Learner Fire Fighter, you will participate in Sasol’s Learnership Programme, combining on-the-job training with structured institutional learning in firefighting. This role is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to ensure fire safety and emergency response readiness at Sasol’s Secunda and Sasolburg facilities. You will engage in workplace activities, complete assessments, and contribute to maintaining a safe operational environment.

Requirements

Formal Education:

Completed National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent with passes in:
- Technical Mathematics or Mathematics
- English or Business English
- Technical or Physical Science
Code B or higher driver’s license.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to pass a stress and fear assessment (covering heights, confined spaces, and fire exposure).
Pass a firefighter fitness assessment.
