Requirements
- Qualification: NQF Level 5 or DHA Qualification in Home Affairs Services at NQF Level 5 (SAQA recognized).
- Skills:
- Client orientation and customer focus
- Administration and clerical skills
- Problem-solving, analytical, and financial administration skills
- Computer literacy and good communication (verbal & written)
- Driver’s license: Advantageous
- Knowledge:
- Public Service Regulatory Framework, Departmental legislation, Batho Pele principles
Key Responsibilities
- Provide birth and death registration services.
- Verify documents and capture applications on the National Population Register.
- Maintain registers for birth and foreign birth occurrences.
- Ensure safekeeping of assets and official documents.
- Report risks and ensure governance compliance.
- Deliver prompt and professional customer service.
