Requirements

  • Qualification: NQF Level 5 or DHA Qualification in Home Affairs Services at NQF Level 5 (SAQA recognized).
  • Skills:
    • Client orientation and customer focus
    • Administration and clerical skills
    • Problem-solving, analytical, and financial administration skills
    • Computer literacy and good communication (verbal & written)
  • Driver’s license: Advantageous
  • Knowledge:
    • Public Service Regulatory Framework, Departmental legislation, Batho Pele principles

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide birth and death registration services.
  • Verify documents and capture applications on the National Population Register.
  • Maintain registers for birth and foreign birth occurrences.
  • Ensure safekeeping of assets and official documents.
  • Report risks and ensure governance compliance.
  • Deliver prompt and professional customer service.
