Annual Salary: R202,233 (Level 05)

Location: Western Cape Government, Department of Infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent) or a three-year tertiary qualification.
  • Relevant work experience in administration.
  • Familiarity with the Housing Act and the management of population registers/waiting lists.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties Include:

  • Checking applicant eligibility and capturing applications on the Housing Subsidy System.
  • Handling subsidy-related queries.
  • Calculating outstanding balances and drafting letters of approval.
  • Maintaining effective communication with the archive register.
