Job Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the Pretoria office. Your key duties will include:

Cleaning and Maintenance:
-
Dust and polish office furniture to maintain a professional appearance.

Sweep and mop tiled floors, vacuum carpets, and clean glass doors.

Clean, wash, and disinfect toilet bowls, urinals, seats, mirrors, and wall tiles.

Clean boardrooms, public areas, reception areas, entrances, stairs, corridors, lifts, and lift lobbies.

Clean microwaves and fridges in the kitchen area.

Waste Management:

Empty and wash dustbins, replacing bin liners as needed.

Remove refuse from public areas to ensure a tidy environment.

Stock and Equipment Management:

Refill hand wash liquid soap, replace toilet paper, and restock hand towels.

Report broken cleaning machines and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Safety and Organization:
-
Place wet floor signs during cleaning to ensure safety.

Sweep and mop floor and wall tiles in the kitchen and other areas.

Support Tasks:

Relieve cleaning duties on other floors as needed.

Perform additional cleaning tasks to support the overall cleanliness of the office.

Requirements
To qualify for the Cleaner position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education: ABET Level 4 or Grade 12 certificate.

Experience: Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge of cleaning procedures and best practices.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic writing skills for reporting and documentation.
