About the Learnership
The Plant Learnership offers an incredible opportunity to gain 2 years of practical, hands-on experience at Sishen Mine. This learnership is part of Anglo American’s mission to reimagine mining and foster opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Preference is given to candidates from the JTG District and Northern Cape, in alignment with Employment Equity policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured learning program at the processing plant.
- Follow safety protocols and demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety.
- Gain hands-on training to develop technical skills in plant operations.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Requirements:
- A Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
- Certified copies of the Senior Certificate or statement of results (progress reports are not accepted).
- Documents Required:
- Updated CV including race, gender, contact details, and email address.
- Certified copy of a valid South African ID.
- Certified copy of a driver’s license (optional).
- Medical Assessment:
- Applicants must successfully pass a medical examination prior to starting the learnership.
