Role Overview
As an Operational Ambulance Emergency Assistant, your main responsibility will be to respond to emergency calls, providing essential medical support within the defined scope of practice. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Readiness: Maintain equipment and readiness for rapid emergency response.
• Patient Care: Provide appropriate medical care within the scope of practice.
• Public Engagement: Act as a positive representative of ER24, fostering community trust in emergency health services.

Educational Requirements

• Education: Grade 10-12
• Citizenship: South African citizens only
• Age: Between 18 to 45 years
• Criminal Record: None

Experience and Skills

• Minimum Experience: At least one year in emergency medical services (EMS)
• Preferred Experience: One year in Intermediate Life Support (ILS) is advantageous
• Key Skills: Knowledge of best practices, HPCSA guidelines, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong English communication skills.
