Programme Overview
Eskom’s Youth Employment Service (YES) Learner Programme is a prestigious national initiative aligned with the Presidential YES Programme, which seeks to create meaningful work experiences for unemployed youth across South Africa.
This programme aims to combat youth unemployment by providing valuable first-time employment opportunities to deserving candidates, allowing them to develop professional and technical skills that enhance their employability in both the public and private sectors.
Successful applicants will be placed within Eskom’s Distribution Division, under the Maintenance and Operations Department, for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The programme provides an opportunity to contribute to the functioning of the country’s energy network while gaining hands-on exposure to real industry environments.
