Job Purpose:
To provide administrative assistance to enable effective functioning of the Nedbank Recovery Business Unit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Business Unit’s cost savings by operating within the set budget.
- Maintain quality of entries and reports by complying with processes, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure external client satisfaction by responding to account queries promptly.
- Build and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders by providing timely feedback on requests.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as processing payments, reconciliations, and updating client accounts.
- Maintain and update administration files and legal documents.
- Manage stationery inventory for the department.
- Prepare for monthly meetings by compiling and sending meeting packs to stakeholders and taking minutes.
- Stay informed about legislation and industry changes affecting the role.
- Embrace Nedbank’s Vision and Values and demonstrate them through interaction with the team and stakeholders.
- Contribute to team goals and personal career growth through guidance and support of management and colleagues.
- Stay abreast of developments in the field of expertise through training and feedback from managers.
- Share knowledge with the team and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Recommend improvements to tools, policies, and procedures to add value to Nedbank.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualification:
Minimum Experience Level:
- 1 year general banking experience
