Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

South African Citizen: Applicants must be citizens of South Africa.
Resident of Ekurhuleni: Candidates must reside in Ekurhuleni (proof of residence required).
Unemployed: Applicants must currently be unemployed.
Educational Requirement: Minimum Grade 10 qualification.
Availability: Candidates must not be active on the CoE HR System when the program commences.

Core Responsibilities:

As a General Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Maintaining a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure that the workspace is clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
Stock and Resource Management: Assist in managing stock levels and resources to support operational efficiency.
Equipment Maintenance: Help maintain machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure they are kept in good working condition and safe.
Handling Equipment and Materials: Load, unload, and carry equipment and materials as directed by your supervisor.
Tool Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure their safekeeping and proper functioning.
