Requirements:

Grade 12/ Level 4 Certificate/ National Vocational Certificate or equivalent.
3-5 years experience as a Foreman in cleaning services in a public health environment.
Three years of National Diploma/ Degree in Public Administration or Public Management will be an added advantage.
Computer Literacy with practical knowledge of MS packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet).
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, inspect, and evaluate the work of cleaners.
Must be able to work shifts (day, night, weekends, and holidays).
Ability to work under pressure.
Good interpersonal relations skills.
Ready to relieve colleagues as the need arises and work closely with other disciplines.

Duties:

Ensure that the section has Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure cleaning of floors, doors, walls, windows, beds, bed locker, steps, high dusting, etc., is always done.
Ensure that cleaning checklists are always checked by Area Managers and immediate supervisors.
Ensure that cleaners are allocated at all strategic points daily.
Ensure that all allocated indoors and outdoors cleaning duties are carried out and inspected accordingly.
Ensure that all complaints are handled with urgency as deemed necessary.
Ensure that cleaning chemicals are used accordingly.
Assist with extra duties as delegated by the next level supervisor.
Ensure continuous training and development of staff.
Responsible for personnel performance evaluation (PMDS) within regulated timelines and monitoring of attendance.
