Requirements
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
Experience:
- Relevant experience as a cleaner in a health environment.
Inherent Requirements:
- Willingness to provide relief according to the needs of the service.
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):
- Ability to work effectively in a team, independently, and without supervision.
- Accountability and responsibility, including handling conflict and working under pressure.
- Skills in operating machinery and cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties, including:
- Dusting, sweeping, polishing, scrubbing, mopping, and cleaning windows and walls.
- Ensure cleaning equipment, such as polishing and scrubbing machines, mops, brooms, and buckets, are clean and securely stored after use.
- Use cleaning agents effectively and practice elementary stock control.
- Dispose of and handle waste following the waste policy.
- Attend in-service training to enhance service delivery.
- Provide optimal support to supervisors and colleagues.
