Key Responsibilities

As a General Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with supervisors to meet daily targets.
Conducting inspections of work areas.
Managing tailings materials on-site and at deposition areas.
Extending and connecting pipelines as required.
Operating valves for specific tasks.
Reporting operational challenges or deviations to supervisors.
Monitoring tailings dam levels and maintaining integrity through mud guard duties.
Ensuring excellent housekeeping across work areas.
Adhering to all safety regulations and participating in toolbox talks.

Requirements

Education:

Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.

Experience:

1 to 5 years in a Frazer/tailings environment.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Observant, detail-oriented, and good listening skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

General Requirements:

Must pass the mine’s criminal screening process.
Willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime.
Must be physically, mentally, and medically fit.
