Job Description

Tiger Brands is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. This role requires a strong aptitude for handling cash, reconciling transactions, and operating effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

As a Cashier, your primary duties will include:

• Handling large volumes of cash with accuracy.
• Counting and reconciling cash received.
• Generating and completing receipts for transactions.
• Liaising with Fidelity Guards and Coin Security for cash collection.
• Performing daily banking tasks and ensuring balanced records.
• Managing communication efficiently with customers and security personnel.

Qualifications and Skills

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year experience as a cashier.

Skills:

• Strong people skills and customer service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
