REGISTRY CLERK: FACILITIES AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT REF NO: LDARD 25/5/2024 (X1 POST)

SALARY: R216 417 per annum (Level 05)
CENTRE: Sekhukhune District

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent qualifications as recognized by SAQA.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Knowledge of the National Archive Act, MISS, and related legislation.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Interpersonal relations skills.
    • Flexibility.
    • Teamwork.
    • Planning and organizing abilities.

DUTIES:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
  • Open new files and number correspondence before filing.
  • Operate the franking machine.
  • Close files in line with applicable standards.
  • Ensure the collection of mail.
  • Maintain the departmental file plan.
  • Monitor the movement of files.
  • Ensure effective flow of information.
  • Administer the registry office.

NOTE:

Applicants must utilize the new Z83 application for employment form as issued by the Minister for the Public Service and Administration in line with Regulation 10 of the Public Service Regulation, 2016. Shortlisted candidates for Senior Management Services will undergo a technical exercise and managerial competency assessment using the DPSA SMS competency Assessment tool.
