Exciting Positions Available

We are hiring for multiple roles within PEP Stores across different locations. This includes:

General Workers (9 Positions):
General Workers are essential to the day-to-day operations at PEP Stores. In this role, you will assist with stocking shelves, arranging displays, unloading shipments, and ensuring the store remains organized and efficient. General Workers contribute directly to our customer satisfaction by helping keep the store well-maintained, and they play a significant part in daily store activities, ensuring smooth operations.
Cashiers (6 Positions):
Cashiers are the final point of contact for our customers and play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience. As a Cashier at PEP Stores, you’ll handle cash, card, and mobile payments with accuracy, manage the checkout process, and provide friendly, professional service. You’ll also assist with customer queries and provide support with packing products when needed. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
Cleaners (12 Positions):
Cleanliness is a top priority at PEP Stores, and our Cleaning team ensures that the store is welcoming and hygienic. As a Cleaner, you’ll help maintain a tidy environment by cleaning floors, surfaces, and high-contact areas, emptying trash, and ensuring that all public areas are spotless. Cleaners are key to ensuring that customers enjoy a pleasant shopping experience from the moment they enter the store.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To apply for any of these positions, candidates must have a minimum education level of Grade 11 or Matric (Grade 12). The ideal candidates are passionate about customer service, enthusiastic about teamwork, and committed to continuous learning and growth within the retail industry. Some essential qualities we’re looking for include:

Good Communication Skills: Strong communication helps ensure effective interactions with both customers and colleagues.
Customer Service Orientation: Each role requires a customer-focused mindset to deliver an outstanding experience.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy is important, especially in the Cashier position.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Retail can be a fast-paced environment, so the ability to adapt to various tasks is valuable.
Physical Stamina: Many roles, particularly in the General Worker and Cleaner positions, require the ability to perform physical tasks, like lifting and moving merchandise.

While prior experience in retail or a similar environment is a plus, it is not required. PEP Stores provides opportunities for new employees to receive training and grow into their roles.
