Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Maintenance: Inspect and maintain fences, gates, windmills, dams, and farm roads.
Equipment Operation: Operate heavy and light machinery safely.
Trenching Operations: Assist in opening and closing trenches.
Vegetation Management: Trim and remove trees as necessary.
Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
Power Line Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and repairing power lines.
Waste Management: Regularly collect and dispose of waste bins.
Graveyard Fencing: Help with the fencing and upkeep of graveyards.
Gardening: Maintain gardens and orchards, including planting and watering.
General Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Key Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: Minimum Grade 10. A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a general worker in construction or farming.
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of safety procedures.
Proficiency with common hand tools.
Ability to work at heights and handle heavy lifting.
