Position: General Worker

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

Salary: Competitive, with benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance and repair of water and sanitation infrastructure
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of facilities and equipment
• Support skilled workers with tasks as needed
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and standards
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required
• Report any issues or damages to supervisors promptly
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with the team

Requirements:

• Less than Grade 12 qualification (No formal education required)
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
• Reliability and strong work ethic

Preferred Attributes:

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Positive attitude and proactive approach to tasks
