If so, Clicks has an exciting opportunity for a Beauty Assistant position at our Moffet Retail Park store. The Beauty Assistant will report directly to the Store Manager and provide exceptional service across the entire beauty department.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To deliver service excellence by providing professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products, promoting and effectively managing merchandise, and maintaining general housekeeping standards to build customer loyalty and maximize sales.

Job Objectives:

Customer Consultation: Engage with customers, answer product-related questions, and provide advice to help customers select the best products and services to meet their needs.
Sales Maximization: Drive and maximize sales in the beauty department through promotions, cross-selling, and up-selling to consistently meet monthly sales targets.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales, evaluate product performance regularly, and suggest improvements to enhance product offerings and increase sales.
Product Knowledge: Maintain updated knowledge on all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers at all times.
Operational Efficiency: Execute all operational activities within the beauty department, including effective stock management, minimizing shrinkage, and maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping and administration.
Visual Merchandising: Ensure that all in-store visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards within the beauty department are consistently met.
Customer Service Excellence: Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and offering a friendly and professional service.
Clicks ClubCard Promotion: Promote the Clicks ClubCard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
Brand Loyalty: Increase profitability and brand loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
Company Values: Facilitate the brand being the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and driving the company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential: Grade 12
Desirable: Relevant Beauty/Skincare qualification
Desirable: Experience within the beauty/skincare, retail, FMCG environment, or sales/marketing environment

Skills, Abilities, and Job-Related Knowledge:

Understanding and application of selling principles
Retail/FMCG background with a solid understanding of merchandising and promotion principles
Knowledge of stock management procedures
Expertise in customer service excellence
In-depth knowledge of beauty and skincare products
Results-driven and target-oriented
Strong customer orientation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Engaging and confident demeanor
