Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is seeking a talented individual for the role of Account Manager in the Sales department based in Midrand. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager in CCBSA Midrand. The primary objective of this role is to develop, implement, and maintain effective account plans, manage the profitable sales of CCBSA products, and develop new business relationships to ensure customer excellence, brand loyalty, and profitable volume growth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Identify and implement new business opportunities
Optimize customer service
Formulate account reviews and plans
Manage and optimize accounts
Manage and maintain assets
Generate orders and execute promotions
Manage cash and credit accounts
Compile competitor reports

Skills, Experience & Education

Knowledge:

Sales/Marketing principles and practices
TSP principles
Manage execution standards
Merchandising and cooler management

Attributes:

Ability to build positive relationships
Negotiation skills
Team player capable of working independently
High energy levels and drive

Qualifications & Experience:

Matric certificate and a 3-year sales/marketing qualification (advantageous)
2 years of relevant FMCG experience in a sales/marketing environment
Valid Code 08 driver’s license
