Job Description:
ROLE PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to manage stock in and out of the Distribution Facility and maintain accurate stock levels in the system.
MAIN OUTPUTS:
- Receive and issue stock physically and in the system.
- Ensure 100% stock accuracy and take accountability for stock movement in the stores.
- Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed.
- Track shipment status, address delays, and expedite shipments when necessary.
- Verify that all stock received is not damaged and that delivery notes align with system information.
- Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and deliveries.
- Resolve any return or delivery issues.
- Ensure vendors are paid for all stock received.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safe stacking procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory audits/stock counts and file issues & receipt slips.
- Update the system on movement, including issuing, receipt, and quarantine stock, etc.
- Undertake other related assignments or duties as assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Certificate in Administration or Customer Service.
- Matric (Senior Certificate).
- Code B Driver’s license will be an added advantage.
- 2 years of experience in a store environment.
- Customer Service training and administration.
- Proficiency in SAP R/3, MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook.
