Location: Oral Health Centre, Tygerberg/Mitchell’s Plain Platform
Salary: R131,265 per annum

Job Overview

The Oral Health Centre is seeking dedicated and reliable General Workers (Stores) to join the Dental Supply Chain Management team. This role is ideal for individuals with basic literacy and numeracy skills who thrive in a team environment. If you have experience in a store’s setting and are willing to perform physical tasks, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Minimum Requirements

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills (no formal education required).
• Previous experience in a store’s environment is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy boxes or bags.
• Willingness to assist with stock-taking and general store duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver stock efficiently to departments, clinics, and theatres in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Assist store clerks in receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
• Help with moving and managing equipment (assets) within the facility.
• Maintain an accurate audit trail of all deliveries.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized on a regular basis.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required by supervisors.

• Physical Endurance: Capable of handling heavy lifting and other physical tasks.
