EPWP Data Capturer (REF NO: 2024/101)

Salary: R151,884 per annum

Location: Mthatha Regional Office

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Senior Certificate/Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification. A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Office Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in data capturing and office administration.
  • Knowledge:
    • Data capturing and administration procedures.
    • Norms and standards, Batho Pele Principles.
    • Administration and reporting procedures.
    • Basic gathering of information.
    • Computer literacy (MS Suite).
    • Office organizational skills.
    • General and electronic filing skills.
    • Conflict management and people skills.
    • Ability to handle stressful environments and perform routine tasks.
    • Basic interpersonal relationships and problem-solving skills.

Duties:

  • Capture information from hard copies submitted by different projects and public bodies to an electronic system (e.g., Word, Excel, and other computer network systems), ensuring the information is accurate and in good standards.
  • Transcribe data from source documents into the EPWP Reporting System.
