Requirements
Qualification: A relevant qualification in Nursing.
Registration: Currently registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant (Auxiliary Nurse).
Knowledge: Familiarity with Batho Pele Principles, patients’ rights charter, and other relevant prescripts.
Skills: Good communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and as part of a team.
Experience: Verified proof of experience.
Duties
Patient Support: Assist and support patients with activities of daily living (physical care) and self-care.
Nursing Care: Render quality care according to the scope of practice and relevant guidelines.
Professional Development: Maintain professional growth and ethical standards.
Health Education: Provide health education to patients, families, and communities to promote health.
Team Collaboration: Maintain constructive working relationships with nurses and other stakeholders.
Resource Utilization: Use material and resources effectively and efficiently.
Communication: Possess elementary communication and writing skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
