Overview:

Company Description: Kumba Iron Ore offers an exciting opportunity for a Plant Learnership. This program entails a 2-year experiential learning opportunity at Sishen mine.

Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups as defined in terms of Employment Equity. Although applications are open throughout South Africa, candidates from the JTG District and the Northern Cape will receive preference.

Job Description: The Plant Learnership training Programme offers a 2-year experiential learning opportunity at Sishen mine.

Qualifications:

  • Original Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with maths literacy or maths.
  • A certificate or statement of results if the certificate is not yet issued (progress reports will not be accepted).
  • Successful completion of a medical assessment before the learnership commences.
  • Updated, complete CV (including race, gender, contact number(s), and email address).
  • Original certified copy of ID Document.
  • Original certified copy of driver’s licence (optional).
