Programme Details: The AFGRI Apprenticeship Programme for 2024 offers successful candidates the opportunity to undergo a three-year, in-service training programme as an Artisan within AFGRI Equipment. This paid apprenticeship aims to develop candidates under the guidance of experienced artisans at AFGRI.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive training in Tractor Mechanics/Technician skills
Perform maintenance and repairs on related equipment
Manage stock control
Provide customer service as required
Undertake general tasks as needed

Who Should Apply: To be eligible for the programme, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Completed N2 subjects such as Engineering Science, Mathematics, and Diesel Trade Theory
Completed additional subjects like Engineering or Technical Drawing, Engineering Science, or Motor Trade Theory (or equivalents)
National Certificate Vocational L4 applicants with relevant theoretical subjects are also encouraged to apply
Non-N2 applicants with matric certification must have completed specific subjects and achieved at least 40% or E symbol

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected according to AFGRI’s Employment Equity Policy.
